Special Charts in Vedic Astrology
Vedic astrology employs a variety of specialized charts and chakras (diagrams) beyond the standard birth chart. These tools provide unique lenses for transit analysis, muhurta (auspicious timing), and event prediction. Unlike divisional charts which subdivide the zodiac for deeper natal analysis, these special charts overlay additional layers of symbolism — nakshatras, aksharas, tithis, and weekdays — onto geometric grids.
Divisional Charts (Varga Charts)
Charts derived by dividing each rasi into smaller segments, providing detailed insights into specific areas of life such as wealth, siblings, property, and career.
Mixed 2 Varga Analysis
Techniques for combining and comparing two divisional charts to synthesize insights across multiple areas of life.
Kota Chakra (Fort Chart)
A transit analysis tool mapping all 28 nakshatras onto a fort structure. Used to identify vulnerable periods when malefic planets breach the inner defensive zones of a native's personal "fort."
Sarvatobhadra Chakra
A comprehensive 9×9 grid containing five astrological layers — nakshatras, signs, tithis, weekdays, and Sanskrit aksharas. One of the most powerful transit analysis tools in classical Vedic astrology.
