Moon in very deep Gandanta (junction of water-fire signs = Pisces/Aries, Cancer/Leo, or Scorpio/Sagittarius, at the exact junction).

[!WARNING] If Moon is in deep Gandanta AND afflicted by Saturn in both D6 and D30, the danger is multiplied. The Gandanta mark is permanent and applies irrespective of any Parivarthana or yoga elsewhere.

When Parivarthana is triggered: The Parivarthana gives results, but does NOT alter the Gandanta mark on the original planet. The Gandanta results of Moon are given through the Dashas of planets in the Gandanta-afflicting pattern.

Remedy: Gandanta Dosha Shanti should ideally be performed when the baby is young. Can still be done later.

Case: Engagement broken by gemstone gifts

A woman with Pisces Lagna was gifted at engagement:

• Ruby necklace (Sun's gem = 6th lord for Pisces)
• Diamond necklace (Venus's gem = 3rd and 8th lord for Pisces)

Both gems accentuated 6th and 8th lord energies → engagement broke.

Key insight: Even if not worn daily, if you possess the gem and have mental association with it, it gives its results. Mental association is sufficient.

Principle: To understand the father as a person (his intelligence, attitude, beliefs) — use L9 (the Arudha of the 9th house) as Lagna.

Case: Father in Case 1 — "Doesn't believe in God"

L9 calculation: 9th house = Virgo. 9th lord Mercury in Scorpio. 11th from Mercury = Cancer. L9 = Cancer.

Taking Cancer as Lagna:

Ketu in own sign = stronger Maraka. It becomes a "killer who is really strong." Own sign does not dilute the Maraka quality — it amplifies Ketu's natural power, including as a Maraka.

Similarly discussed: Vargottama Maraka Saturn (for Dhanu Lagna) — still a Maraka, but with Raja Yoga potential from Arudha Lagna (12th from AL = Raja Yoga).

"Until 2029 (Mercury Dasha), there is no full cure for this person. He has to be on medication, keep controlling his emotions. One problem may go, another similar problem may come."

[!TIP] For someone who doesn't believe in religion but believes in God: suggest Sri Rama, Rama, Rama — one mala daily or simply thinking the name mentally whenever free. Simple, effective.

• A9 (Dharma Pada) in Vimshamsa is in Badhakasthana
• A8 (Mrityupada) is with A9 — tangible dharma is with death-energy
• 9th lord Mercury in 8th from 9th in Vimshamsa — very weak
• Lagna lord Venus with Jupiter and Saturn — some hope when those dashas come

"This is not the chart of somebody who may turn into a religious person later. There is some hope when Venus and Jupiter Dashas come."
