[!NOTE] Rajju (rope) interpretation: A rope can tie down (restrict, bind) or hang (destroy). When planets are strong, the yoga works as a rope binding the person's energy toward a goal. When planets are weak, the person is like someone caught in a noose — keeps moving, never accomplishes anything. Mobile signs intensify this dynamic.

Musala (plow) interpretation: Plowing the land is not about instant results — it prepares soil for harvest months later. Similarly, Musala yoga persons persevere through long efforts before bearing fruit. The planets are in fixed signs, reinforcing permanence and steady accumulation. The plow also doubles as a weapon (Balarama's weapon), showing that this effort can also be used as force.

🌺 Dala Yogas — The 2 Group Yogas {#dala}

Dala = group/petal. These yogas form when natural benefics or natural malefics occupy 3 of the 4 quadrant houses (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th).

Verse 3b — Definition

Corrected reading: "Kendratrayagataiḥ krūrairvā dālasaṃgnakau" — If natural benefics (saumya) or natural malefics (krūra) occupy three quadrants.

[!NOTE] Bhujanga = snake. Sarpa = serpent. Both names indicate the same yoga — a garland (quadrant frame) of malefics around the lagna.

This is a common yoga — many charts will have 3 quadrants occupied predominantly by benefics or malefics, making Mala or Sarpa yoga quite prevalent in practice.
