1. Surya Siddhanta planetary calculations (menu option — not default)
2. Chara Dasha of divisional charts — select Options → pick divisional chart (D-24, D-9, D-10, etc.) when viewing Parashara Chara Dasha
3. Sub-divisional charts — D-M by D-N (e.g., D-24 by D-9 = Navamsa of the D-24 chart)

[!NOTE] How to use divisional Vimshottari Dasha (for remedies and career-specific timing): Go to Dashas → Nakshatra Dashas → Vimshottari → Options → Select the divisional chart. The teacher's method: use the Vimshottari Dasha based on Moon's position within that divisional chart (not the natal Rashi Moon).

For Tajaka annual charts: Dashas → Preferences related to Dashas → "Dasha seed settings for Tajaka" → Uncheck "Use Dasha seed Nakshatra/Lagna from natal chart." This ensures the annual chart's own Moon Nakshatra seeds the Dasha, not the natal chart's progression.

• D-24 education chart: 2nd lord Mercury in 11th house, very strong; 9th lord (bachelor's) Mars in Virgo (Mercury's sign) = Mercury's sign dominates Mars's energy → math/applied physics field
• D-10 career: Venus in Cancer + Moon in Scorpio + Mars aspects = some medicine signal
• Sun+Mars in Virgo = Applied physics (Mercury's sign containing Sun+Mars) → more mathematical/theoretical physics rather than medicine
• Teacher's conclusion: Mercury will dominate. Applied physics/math is more likely than medicine. Field may become more mathematical/theoretical over time (Mercury = theory; Mars = practical). Some medicine possibility remains.

What is D-M by D-N?

Jhora 7.5 introduces an experimental sub-divisional chart feature. You take a divisional chart (e.g., D-24, education) and find further divisions within it (e.g., D-9 Navamsa of the D-24).

Concept: All divisional points exist in the same physical zodiac. The Navamsa of your D-24 Moon is in actual physical Gemini (or wherever) — not an abstract "D-24-Navamsa-Gemini." So you can legitimately find further divisions.

Practical use: Finding further charts allows seeing fortune (Navamsa), suffering (Trimsamsa), career (Dashamsa) within a specific area of life (education, spirituality, marriage, etc.).

Sign Change Windows in D-24 by D-9 (Tarun's Chart)

[!WARNING] When Lagna changes every 26 seconds, do not use Lagna for sub-divisional analysis. Use only planets that are clearly within a sign window of several hours. Moon may be borderline — always check the time window before relying on Moon's position in sub-divisional charts.

Future application: Once this research matures, precise sub-divisional positions could enable very fine chart rectification using life events to within minutes of accuracy.

The Role of Divisional Charts

[!IMPORTANT] Divisional charts are NOT secondary to Rashi charts. The teacher's firm position:

"Most astrologers today say Rashi chart is the key chart, and divisional chart is just for confirmation. If Rashi chart doesn't show something, divisional chart cannot overwrite it. But we know twins born two minutes apart have very different lives — their Rashi charts are identical. Divisional charts must be crucial. Parashara said use D-24 for education, D-10 for career, D-20 for spirituality. He didn't say 'use Rashi chart first, then check divisional.' Once you find the divisional chart, treat it as your Rashi chart for that area of life."

Dasha Systems — Current Working Priority

[!NOTE] On Ashtottarvarga: Parashara said: "Kali Yuga people are so dumb that when there are so many factors, they can't balance everything and come to a conclusion. So I'm giving them an objective tool." Ashtottarvarga is that objective tool — a numerical scoring system. It remains a major area of future research.

[!NOTE] On Sahamas (Arabic Parts): Mentioned by Nilakantha and other latter-day authors (not Parashara's original BPHS). The teacher will focus on Parashara's teachings first, including: Vimshottari and conditional Nakshatra Dashas, Chara Dasha, Sudarshana Chakra Dasha, transits, and Ashtottarvarga. Sahamas can be explored after Parashara's system is mastered.

Remedy Principle

1. Go to the relevant divisional chart (D-24 for education, D-10 for career, D-30 for health)
2. Find the Vimshottari Dasha running in that divisional chart (not the Rashi Vimshottari)
3. Propitiate the Dasha lord of that divisional chart's current Dasha

Tarun's remedy: Saturn Dasha in D-24 (education chart) = propitiate Vishnu (Vishnu Sahasranama). Mercury is also a key planet (2nd lord in 11th house — fulfillment of education desires) → Vishnu Sahasranama is optimal for both Saturn and Mercury. Everything converges to Vishnu in this chart (Mercury in 4th house in Rashi chart too; Rashi 4th lord in 4th = Vishnu orientation).
