The fourth house (Sukha Bhava) governs:

[!TIP] Example: Capricorn Lagna with exalted Mars (4L) in Lagna. Mars strongly aspects its own 4th house → abundant real estate. However, Mars being a krura graha may introduce property disputes, enemies, or aggression around possessions.

General verdict: Excellent structural placement; the fourth house is fortified from a quadrant. Modify by planetary nature and afflictions.

💰 Fourth Lord in 2nd House (Dhana) {#4l-in-2nd}

Sanskrit verse: "Sukhese dhanage jato bhogi sarva-dhananvitah. Kutumba-sahito mani sahasī kuhakanvitah."

[!NOTE] Kuhakanvitah (cunning) is explained not as malice but as pragmatic goal-orientation — the person bends rules to achieve ends. From the 6H angle: 11L in 9H → overcoming all obstacles with great resourcefulness, which can tip into deception.

[!IMPORTANT] This is one of the strongest placements for all fourth-house results. The 4L aspects the 10H (career, status), making this person socially influential.

Sanskrit verse: "Sukhe se putra bhavasthe sukhī sarvajana priyaḥ. Viṣṇu bhakto guṇī māni svabhujārjita vittavān."

[!WARNING] Child significations (5H): 4L in 5H creates a 12th-house relationship from the child's house back to the 4L's natural domain. The person may spend heavily for children, or children may stay physically distant for significant periods.

[!NOTE] On Vishnu devotion: The 5H of devotion as Lagna places the 12L (surrender) in Lagna. Vaishnava bhakti is epitomised by surrender. Compare: if 8L were in Lagna from 5H, it would indicate intense tapasya-style worship instead.

Sanskrit verse: "Sukhe che ripubhāvasathe mātuḥ sukhavivarjitaḥ. Krodhī cōrobhicāricā ccechchācarasya durmanāḥ."

[!WARNING] On predicting "black magic": Do NOT predict this from fourth-lord placement alone. It requires:

• Rahu involvement
• Ninth-house affliction (Dharma destroyed)
• Multiple corroborating factors The verse is a guideline, not a standalone prediction.

[!NOTE] On independence (ccechchācara): The ninth house governs guru, father, boss — authority figures one should listen to. From 9H here: 8L in 10H → the karma of the guru gets blocked. The person either cannot follow authority or circumstances force non-compliance.

[!NOTE] On siddhi: Any spiritual practice (sadhana) is shown by 8H. Its fulfillment (siddhi) is shown by 6H (11th from 8H). So the 6H governs all psychic and spiritual accomplishments — satvic or tamasic alike.
