Chapter 24, Verse 73. Dāreśe lagnage jātaḥ paradāreṣu lampaṭaḥ | duṣṭo vijākṣaṇo 'dhīro jano vātarujānvitaḥ ||

[!NOTE] Being outgoing, talkative, and dynamic is the baseline quality of 7th lord in lagna (7th from 7th = lagna lord in lagna energy). This person engages everyone. The paradāreṣu lampaṭaḥ result is one extreme expression of this high-interaction energy.

[!TIP] On speech: 6th lord in lagna creates a Viparīta Rāja Yoga for the 2nd house (speech) — there may be initial speech difficulties or an awkward start, but ultimately speech recovers and the person becomes friendly and communicative. Verse 74. Dareshe dhanabhavasthe bahudārasya vartanam | dārayogāddhanāptiśca dīrghasūtrī ca mānaваḥ ||

Results

[!IMPORTANT] Bahudārā (multiple wives) does not mean simultaneous polygamy. It specifically arises because the 7th lord in the 8th from the 7th house weakens the longevity of the marriage — spouse may die, or the marriage may end in divorce, leading to a second marriage.

[!NOTE] The 3rd house is both the house of initiative and the bhāvat bhāvam of death (8th from 8th). Having the 7th lord here brings the energy of relationships and interactions into this house. Parāśara focuses on the child-longevity angle, but the 7th house being fortified from its own lagna also gives rich social life and foreign connections.

[!WARNING] The rule about children not surviving is a statistical tendency, not a certainty. Without consulting additional charts (Saptāṁśa, etc.) and the full context of the chart, no definitive conclusion should be drawn.

[!TIP] Spouse as a "career woman": When the 7th lord is in the 10th from the 7th house's lagna, the spouse's intellect (lagna lord) is directed toward the 10th house of karma. Even without a formal job, she will always want to serve, organize, or pursue some active worldly engagement — and that is why this person cannot "control" her in the traditional sense.

[!NOTE] The 12th house governs teeth (along with feet and the left eye). Any affliction to the 12th house, particularly by an 8th lord, can manifest as dental problems.
